Marco Parolini, lic. rer. publ. HSG

Upon graduation, Marco Parolini (born 1964) started working at the former Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS), completing a financial training for university graduates. During his time at UBS, he also worked as the assistant to the director of the Luxemburg subsidiary. Other jobs were at the UBS Broker Research, the fund management company Intrag AG as well as the senior management of the Swiss region‘s head office where he gained an insight into complexe economic correlations. After five years at UBS, Marco Parolini changed jobs for the newly-founded Privatbank Von Graffenried AG, using the opportunity to help building up the firm. In addition to conceptual work, he – in his function as deputy director – was also responsible for the front office. In 1999, together with partners he founded an asset management company in Berne. In order to implement his strategic visions in an international environment, he founded in 2003 the Zurich-based Umblin Ltd. where he is also Managing Director.
Marco Parolini is a member of several boards of directors.
