Christopher Chandiramani,
lic. rer. pol.
Christopher Chandiramani (born 1957) graduated
from the University of Berne with a degree in Economics
and Trade Law. As a working student, he was employed
at the Zurich financial center and specialized
in analyzing Swiss stocks (incl. second-line stocks).
For over 25 years, he worked as a financial analyst,
fund manager (“Schweizeraktien, and “Europa-Valor”)
and investment advisor for such financial institutions
as Credit Suisse Group and Bank Sarasin. He also
gained experience as a journalist working for “Cash” and
the “Swiss Equity Magazin” (second-line
stocks magazine).
Christopher Chandiramani has been a member of the
Umblin AG Investment Committee since the foundation
of the company and started working for Umblin on
a permanent basis in April 2008.
He is also active in politics, being a member of
the business audit commission of the city of Rapperswil-Jona
since 2006, and a member of the St. Gallen cantonal
parliament since March 2008.
